Meet Sarah Marie

Isn't this the section where everyone talks about how "I've had a camera in my hand since I was *this* high" and "it's in my blood"...yadda, yadda, yadda? Well, I'm really not that pretentious.  Listen, after 44 years, with most of them wearing the label "artist," here are my truths and what I can offer YOU:

*You want street cred?  I have my BFA in painting, my MFA in studio teaching and both are from Boston University's College of Fine Art.  I've been doing this since, like, film times...which is more than 17 years.  My couples have been blogged about in Beantown Bride and published in both Seacoast Weddings and Bride and Groom Magazine; it's time to blow up Offbeat Bride and Rock-n-Roll Bride with your goings on as well!

*When someone says they specialize in something, I think it should mean that they spend their time honing their skills with that particular craft.   I specialize in three types of photography: event (including weddings), portraits (including headshots), and fine art.  That's it...and that's why I'm good at what I do!

*I love Star Wars, snowboarding and gnomes, along with my man and my cats. I'm learning to love the dog...

*As you can see from the statement above, I'd rather hang with the offbeat and the geeks. I'm definitely not "cool" or "hip" (heck, I use the term "hip" here). You know what? I'm okay with that.

*I like sass and sweetness, tempered with a little sarcasm.

*Sushi, good coffee and dark chocolate are my comfort foods, with cake not far behind.

*Is there anywhere else more awesome to live besides New England?  Well, unless it's Ireland...or Germany...or Scotland...

*ModCloth and PinUp Girl Clothing are WAY more addicting than Pinterest.

If your wedding is one where the bride wears Fluevogs and both you rock body art...well then, I'm in my zone! If there's any mention of Star Wars or LOTR, well then, I think I'll have hit the jackpot and gone to heaven!

If you're still reading this, I bet we'd make a good match. Go on over to that CONTACT page and get in touch...I promise, it won't hurt and we can discuss Rogue One and Episode 8, coming to a theater near you...
