WSOP 2022: Ankit Ahuja & Aditya Agarwal In Hunt For Gold Among The 39 Players Remaining In Event #21

 It is still early at the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) 2022 and Team India is making a splash at the series. Carrying the Indian flag in Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack are Ankit Ahuja & Aditya Agarwal. The duo is a part of the 39 survivors making it to the fourth and final day of the event.

The 2020 PokerStars LIVE Red Dragon Manila High Roller champion Ahuja has bagged the 16th highest stack of 9,125,000, while Agarwal, who had  finished finished 9th in Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout NLH for $23,634 is one of shorter stack with 4,300,000. While Agarwal has a short stack, he has the ability to come from behind and rise to the top. We wish both players all the best!

Day 3 began with 271 runners returning from the original field of 6,501 entrants. Among them, there were 3 Indians, Aditya Agarwal (3,240,000), Nishant Sharma (3,135,000) & Ankit Ahuja (1,165,000) . While Ahuja and Agarwal advanced to Day 4, Nishant Sharma exited in 142nd place for $7,584.

The remaining 39 players are led by Japan’s Yoshiya Agata (19,475,000). Former bracelet winner Anthony Spinella (15,850,000), WSOP bracelet winner Max Steinberg (12,875,000), Jessica Teusl (12,025,000) & Day 2 chip leader Calvin Anderson (9,925,000) are the other big stacks remaining.

Day 4 begins at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 14. While each of the remaining players has locked up a minimum $25,369, the winner will receive a massive $966,577 and the coveted gold bracelet.
